Meet head chef, Jean - Marc Flaschner, a true master of his craft. He brings with him over a decade's worth of the highest local and international culinary experience, something he wishes to instil in our promising young local chefs alongside him in the kitchen. Setting his sights firmly on developing and innovating the JB Rivers culinary offering, his aim is to fuse his wealth of diverse food knowledge across a variety of styles and flavours. His true colours thrive under the warmth and heartiness of country style cooking with that of a more delicate understanding known to him in 5-star fine dining. The end goal is to merge a perfect balance of generous sized portions, rich flavours and delicate ingredient combinations.
